SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Delivery Areas

SmartClass Furniture delivers across England, Scotland, and Wales. We do not deliver to islands. Local delivery within 50 miles of our premises is free of charge.

A flat rate delivery charge of £250 applies to all furniture deliveries outside of this area. Seating and soft furnishing items delivered directly from our supplier are charged at a flat rate of £40. Where an order includes both furniture and seating items, all items will be delivered together by our team at a single delivery charge of £250.

Please note: Where an order includes both furniture and seating items, a member of our team will contact you before dispatch to discuss your delivery preference. We can deliver everything together at £250, or deliver your seating items sooner at a separate charge of £40 if you would prefer not to wait for your furniture to be made.

Delivery Timescales

Delivery timescales vary depending on product availability and order requirements. All lead times will be confirmed at the time of order. When an order includes both stock and made-to-order items, we will aim to deliver all items together where possible.

Delivery Scheduling

We do not offer fixed delivery slots at the time of ordering. Once your order is placed, a member of our team will contact you by phone or email to agree a suitable delivery date. We ask that an authorised representative is available on the agreed date to receive and sign for the delivery and to direct our team on furniture placement.

Room of Choice Delivery & Installation

All deliveries are made directly into your chosen room. Our delivery team will position furniture exactly where you require it. All furniture is delivered fully assembled. All SmartClass Furniture delivery staff who attend school or educational settings are fully DBS checked.

Proof of Delivery

Photographic proof of delivery and condition is taken at the point of delivery for every order.

Damages at the Point of Delivery

We take great care to ensure all items are delivered in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please take the following steps:

  • Note the damage on the delivery paperwork before signing
  • Take clear photographic or video evidence of the damage immediately
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@smartclassfurniture.co.uk or call 01384 413636
  • Include your order number and evidence of the damage in your message

We will investigate promptly and arrange a replacement or resolution as quickly as possible. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
